Build your first form

From Forms, choose New form. Give it a name — the slug for its public URL is derived from that name.

Open the designer. You add fields two ways:

  • Click a field in the left palette — it lands after whatever is selected.
  • Drag a field from the palette onto the canvas — it lands exactly where you drop it. A line shows whether it will go above or below the row you are hovering.

Drag existing rows to reorder them. Drop onto Drop here to nest inside to put a field inside a group or repeat group.

Select a row to edit it on the right: the title respondents see, the identifier used in templates and exports, whether it is required, and type-specific options.

The Preview tab renders the form through the same code respondents get — not a lookalike. Submission is disabled there.

Save stores the schema and bumps the version. Publish the form, then share the public URL shown on the form page (/f/<slug>).

  • Attach a Word template so each submission generates paperwork.
  • Send submissions somewhere with delivery.
