Repeat groups

A repeat group captures a variable number of rows — line items on an invoice, one row per piece of equipment, a photo per room.

Drag Repeat group onto the canvas, then drop fields onto its drop here to nest inside zone. Those fields become the columns of each row.

  • Minimum occurrences — how many rows must be filled.
  • Maximum occurrences0 means unlimited.

Set Entry summary to label each row in the respondent’s view. It makes a long list readable instead of “Item 1, Item 2, Item 3”.

A repeat group becomes a loop in your Word template. Put the %for% in the first cell of a table row and %endfor% in the last, and the table grows one row per entry:

%for row in fields.LineItems%
{{row.item}} {{row.qty}}
%endfor%
