Roles and groups

Two separate controls: roles decide what someone can do, groups decide which forms they can see.

Roles

Role	Can
Owner	Everything, including managing other owners.
Admin	Manage forms, submissions, templates, and users below admin.
Member	Work with the forms they can see.

A business always keeps at least one owner — the app refuses to remove the last one.

Groups

Groups restrict a form’s visibility within a business:

• A form with no groups is visible to everyone in the business.
• A form assigned to groups is visible only to members of those groups.
• Owners and admins always see every form, regardless of groups.

Assign groups on the form’s page under Visibility.

Note

Groups control visibility, not permission. A member who can see a form still acts within their role.
